Up Your Black-Tie Game: Navy Is Most Certainly The New Black

You may not be Bond or an Oscar winning leading man who’s about to give his acceptance speech. But there will inevitably come a day when you’ll have to whip out a tux; be it as a best man or at your own wedding.

Personally (& somewhat oddly) I was never a big fan of tux. It makes a man look mighty good (no question about that!). But wearing one, I thought takes out the individuality out of one’s personality; imagine yourself one of the 200 other men present at black-tie wearing a ubiquitous black tux. It just doesn’t have the oomph that a well tailored glen plaid 3-piece would have.

But thanks to men such as Tom Ford & some other labels, I am beginning to think otherwise. By bringing in colors such as midnight blue & even brown, they have given men a heck of a reason to wear a tux.
